More About Insomnia

Insomnia is the first progressive electronic single by Nakis Kyriakou that gives insight into the tossing, turning and rollercoaster ride of Insomnia. The heart pounding, head pounding frustration of never being able to turn off your mind in the darkness. You’re drawn into the night with Nakis as we feel the beat of his pulse, the pounding drum roll in his head as his mind and body reel with Insomnia. This single was created to emphasize depressive disorder through music. Insomnia was composed in 2019 by Tryfonas Kyriakou (Nakis) and Socrates Socratous (Soco) when Nakis was studying for his Master’s degree (MMus) creative musician in Leeds. He performed this track for the first time unofficially for his final recital. Insomnia recorded in Studio9, Paphos, Cyprus.
